Chinkiang Vinegar 554ml – Chundan Chinkiang vinegar is a traditional Chinese condiment made from fermented black rice. It has a deep and complex flavour that is sweet, full-bodied, earthy, and rich. It is comparable in taste to unsweetened balsamic vinegar. Chinkiang is widely used in Chinese cuisine to flavour cold appetizers, add colour and flavour to braised meats, and dipping sauce for soup dumplings.

Useful Tips For Using Golden Mountain Distilled Vinegar (5%)
- For fluffier, great-tasting rice, add 1/3 tablespoon of Golden Mountain Distilled Vinegar to the boiling water. Your rice will be easier to spoon and less sticky.
- To revive vegetables that look stale and wilted, soak them in a litre of cold water and add a tablespoon of Golden Mountain Distilled Vinegar.
- To prevent hard-cooked eggs from cracking, add two tablespoons of Golden Mountain Distilled Vinegar per litre of water before cooking. This will also help shells to peel off faster and easier.
- To marinate meat, simply moisten the meat with Golden Mountain Distilled Vinegar and rub on a mixture of dry spices, herbs and seasonings.
- To remove pesticides from fruit and vegetables, wash them with a mixture of 2-3 tablespoons of Golden Mountain Distilled Vinegar per litre of water.
- To clean, cut grease, and absorb odours on your wood cutting board, wipe down with Golden Mountain Distilled Vinegar.
- To clean and freshen the microwave, mix four tablespoons of Golden Mountain Distilled Vinegar and 1/4 litre of water in a small bowl and heat for 5 minutes. This will remove the odours and soften baked-on food spills.
